New Year’s 2012

For the past 3 years I’ve made a New Year’s card and sent it out to friends and family. I started doing it because I need an excuse to draw and this was a good way of forcing me to making something with a deadline in mind with the outcome to share it with others. The first two cards that I made were inspired by images that I had seen. This year I felt confident enough to make something that was very much about what I saw for myself. It’s a little bit chaotic and messy and there are a lot of ideas going on, but for better or worse this is what I came up with for this year. Happy New Year!
