Blue Ink

January 16, 2012

Jillian Tamaki is one of my favorite illustrators. Her work is consistently evolving and expanding and her vision and talent is undeniable. She is not only a very skilled drawer, she also has a very individual and strong voice regarding what kinds of images should permeate our pattern language. This is one of her works that I think demonstrates her agility and cleverness in the medium of ink.
